Product Availability and Pricing
Please note that all of our merchandise is subject to prior sale. Sometimes an item will be sold before we are able to post notification to the site. If this happens, we will immediately assist you in finding another comparable item.
Infrequently, data may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Sale of Settings without Center Diamonds
Our blank settings are available for individual purchase.
Special or Custom-made Orders
We do accommodate custom-made and special orders. However, we do require payment in full at the time of order. Please note that custom-made or special order items are not returnable and therefore non-refundable.
Payment Methods
For your convenience, we offer the following payment methods:
Bank Wire: A wire transfer is a simple process of contacting your bank to have funds moved from your bank to ours and is our preferred method of payment. Our wire transfer information can be downloaded from our website under the “Forms download” section.
Cashier’s or Certified Check: (please allow 3-5 business days for confirmation that the check has cleared in our account)
Personal Check: (please allow 5-7 business days for confirmation that the check has cleared in our account)
Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard or American Express
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available for purchase and expire one (1) year from the date of purchase. They are not redeemable for cash, cannot be returned for a cash refund, and are not transferable. Empire Diamond is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.
Shipments Are Insured
We fully insure each order all the way to you. That means that when your order is in transit to you, shipment is always risk-free. For added security, it is our policy that a signature is required for all orders shipped via FedEx, regardless of any signature waivers you may have with them.
Alternate Shipping Addresses
If you prefer, we can ship your order to an address other than your billing address. As a security precaution, we require that your alternate shipping address be on file with your credit card company. This added step helps protect you from fraudulent charges to your credit card. We reserve the right to refuse shipment to an address other than your billing address.
International Shipments
Unfortunately we do not ship orders to international addresses, APO and FPO addresses.
Laboratory Reports (G.I.A. Certificates)
When you order a loose diamond or diamond ring, we ship it to you with the accompanying diamond grading report (also called a diamond certificate). These grading reports are lengthy, detailed documents created by diamond grading experts at highly-respected laboratories – making it very
expensive to replace a diamond grading report. Because of this, we require each diamond grading report to be included with each returned diamond or diamond ring.
If you do not include the diamond grading report with your return, you will be charged a $250. replacement fee, at which point the return will be processed.
Laser Inscriptions
We offer laser inscriptions for a nominal fee. Please call for prices.
Sales Tax
Currently, sales tax is only collected on orders shipped to addresses in New York State.
Empire Diamond’s Policy on Conflict Diamonds
At Empire Diamond, we only purchase diamonds through the largest and most respected suppliers who, like us, proudly adhere to and enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process, an international system that polices the trade of diamonds to ensure they are from sources free of conflict. All our diamonds are warrantied to be conflict free. If one of our suppliers was ever found to be in violation of that process, we would immediately sever that relationship. We will continue to support and promote any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.
